National Information Portal for Migrant Workers - SNA part of winning contract consortium
Safety Net Associates is part of the winning consortium led by HTK that has won a competitive tender to build and run the new National Information Portal for Migrant Workers in a 3-year contract with the East of England Development Agency (EEDA), with co-funding from the European Social Fund (ESF).
HTK has assembled a best-of-breed consortium with tremendous experience in day-to-day interaction with migrant workers, international marketing and interactive multimedia service delivery. The Portal will open in the Summer.
Bob Kennett, SNA Commercial Director and Justin Bowser, HTK Director of Public Sector, commented on the win: "This is a very exciting project, combining innovation, education and multi-lingual multi-channel service delivery. Justin added "We'll be working very closely with EEDA and our partners at Keystone Development Trust and Safety Net Associates to build a service that truly reflects the changing needs of migrant workers and those who work with them". Effective marketing of the service to such a wide audience has its own challenges, but our colleagues at Milner LLP are already bringing some great ideas to the table."
The project aims to become financially self-sustaining, and Partners are currently identifying suitable commercial and public sector sponsors. All commercial and partnership enquiries should in the first instance be directed to EEDA, migrantworkers@eeda.org.uk.
